  • Polymeric Waterproofing Membranes have at their heart, APP or SBS modified Bitumen, to impart characteristics of high softening point and high penetration and resistance to ageing. From a solid and brittle material at room temperature the modification process transforms Bitumen to a waxy semi-solid, which makes it ideal for waterproofing. This Bitumen is calendared between layers of various reinforcements such as Polyester, Fiberglass and Polyethylene, to produce ideal waterproofers. Polymeric membranes are available in Plain, Mineral Granule or Aluminium Foil finishes.


  • Tar based Pipe coating tapes are manufactured from high, special grades of tar that are calendared along with high strength carriers. Tar has tremendous resistance to aging and has incredible mechanical properties which makes such tapes an excellent anti corrosive treatment for MS Pipe lines and other structures. Polymeric Pipe coating tapes are manufactures using Polymeric mix that is calendared between various tapes of high strength. The resulting tapes have excellent flexibility and elasticity to provide long lasting and effective protection from corrosion. IWLs Polymeric tapes conforms to Codes IS 10221 and AWWA C 203


  • IWL produces a range of emulsions for use in road construction complying to the Code of IS 8887 2004. Rapid, Medium and Slow setting are the most common products in this category. However IWL can also manufacture specialized Emulsions to cater to specific requirements. IWL also manufactures a range of specialized Bitumen including Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen and Polymer modified Bitumen, for use on the top surfacing of modern highways. Such modified Bitumens have a greater resistance to ageing and wear and tear, leading to higher pavement life.
